eBay customer service fail

So recently due to my lack of funds during the times of the bad economy I decide to start selling some of my vinyl toys, again. I sold and shipped this Gary Baseman 12" dunce figure about 3 weeks ago on eBay and and the buyer has not received it yet. After checking with the post office ending with no help I gave eBay a message to figure out are they're any options that they can help resolve the issue. This morning, I get the following message back from eBay..

that was purchased by "simbaodeh". You mentioned that you already sent
the item but, the buyer claims that they still didn't get it. You also
added that it can't be traced though the post office received it.

you provided. Please reply to this email and provide the item number
