my thighs are burnin'

so my buddy, colby and i brought our bikes to school. after we took off for our first ride over to a near by chipotle i ran into him within the first 10 or so feet or riding and we both fell. It led my previous scab to reopen and bleed freely through my jeans. it was awesome. so that's not all. half way there my tire blew. probably due to low psi in my back tire. so i went to get a new tire and a hand pump and we were off again. we biked a few mini uphill roads which killed us. but overall we had a nice time riding around and getting used to fixed gear bikes, fixies, or what have you. i think i'm going to have some crazy looking thighs by the end of this month. o_o

so this morning, instead of working and going to my marketing class, i decided to doodle on my old dirty pair of chucks. woohoo.

i want my ktt

so i finally purchased my fixie. i'm waiting patiently as it is supposed to arrive at my doorstep this monday. after talking to a lot of people i decided to get the mercier kilo tt (60)/green. I think i might go to a huge parking lot and get used to fixed gear biking. I think a week of that should set me off safely to the streets, or maybe not.

fun at work again...

driving home from work sick

So driving home from work yesterday night I felt like I had a fever. My body was numb. Head was pounding. Feeling like shit would just sum it up. So I turned on the radio 'cause I haven't so in soo long. It was 8pm so I told myself "Chocolate City @ 8pm on kcrw 89.9fm!"It was a radio show I used to try to listen to all the time when I didn't have a mp3 or cd player in the car. Oh my... the first track they played gave me this rare feeling that just totally woke me up. Goose bumps. Head bumpin. Dancing in my car seat. It made the ride home enjoyable. The city lights of downtown LA sparked like glistening stars. I was weaving through traffic. woo. Then when I got home and got out of my car I felt like shit again. boo. But after 7 or so hours of sleep I feel like a champ again. I think it's just lack of sleep that's been killing me.

Don't forget that the two man show with Clare Rojas and Barry McGee is today. Unfortunately I have work 11-7 today so I won't be able to make it to the opening. I'm pretty sad about that. But oh well. I'm going Monday, which is officially the last day of my spring break from school.
