On Thursday I thought I'd drop by Fullerton to take some pictures. I also dropped by 99 Ranch Market in Rowland Heights because I wanted to take a picture of a few things that I've been meaning to take for awhile now. I'll post a few pictures I took at Fullerton a bit later. But here are a few from 99 Ranch. Injoi
I probably visit this market a few times a year. And every time I've been here I'd see the same old bottles of Scope. I'd estimate they have been sitting on the same shelf for the last 10 years. No joke. If you've wondered what expired mouth wash looks like, here it is folks.
Yeah. No comment.
Do you believe in magic? I do with these flakes and creams.
Excellent. Just what I crave after dropping a deuce in the can.
Nothing really funny. But i do like this package design.
???. Ok, I did wiki this and the name belongs to some ancient mathematician. But why butter biscuits? Interesting, right?!
Chiz Curls. Imma buy these for Shiz, you know what i'm saying my Chizzy nizzy? ok maybe not.
I just love the character and colors. :)
Get your fish serviced today at your near by 99Ranch market!
What do you want to drink?
Hair wax Galore.
Mabo Tofu as easy as 1, 2, 3
Cock or Chicken?
Sun Chips, please.
Spiderman is awesome.
New device to blast away those pimples!

sunday
define sunday, google!
I love wiki's definition. "Sunday is the day of the week between Saturday and Monday"
Nice, very nice. I don't know what i was really expecting, though. Maybe just a simple "Sunday is one of the days of the week." In any case, I don't really care anymore. Happy Sunday, people.

dave kinsey...
So I ended up going to the show by myself tonight. It was pretty good but I think I expected a bit more. But in any case, I'm glad I finally got to see Kinsey's art in real life instead of crappy jpegs i see online.
I picked up the only print they were selling. It was based on his original painting pictured below. It was an edition of 225 @ $50.00 a pop. Not bad right?! right. That was me justifying myself that it was 50 bucks well spent. I'm off to find a good frame for it this coming week. Can't wait to see it up in the office. Now I'm patiently waiting for Murakami's show. Oh, that reminds me that I still need to drop by Barry McGee's show up at RedCat. So much to do. So little time. The story of all our lives.
A few other pictures that I took...
always gotta take the crowd shot..

nor cal weekend
so i went to visit my nephew, nate, last weekend up north before winter quarter. we just hung out and went to some nice places to eat. just what i really needed before my summer break was over. all i was doing before that was working. so below are some pictures i took while i was there. enjoy :)
chips / guac / salsa from Zona Rosa on haight street
carne asada burrito with eggplant and zucchini @ Zona Rosa (pretty good but i still like chipotle!! lol)
helluv old bottle of squirt nate bought at Zona's. i can't believe that fool drank it too.
some milk green tea milk from TEA AREA in mountain view. it's pretty good for the price but i'm still a huge fan of TEN REN, but it's expensive as hell.
the following pictures were taken at Santa Ramen. i think the meat is way better than what i usually get at Daikokuya. but, everything else is better at daiko. the soup, noodles, and vegetables. The chicken bowl... even though it looks simple and not that tasty. wrong! it's hella good. goes well with a bowl of ramen. long lines as usual like daikokuya.
good morning, nate! this is before him before he inhaled a pastry and downed a bottled iced coffee..
and some random book i saw at the jamba juice store...
